Our vision is a growing, inclusive, and more sustainable Western Australian screen industry that showcases Western Australia and its diverse communities, talent, culture, and Country.The opportunityWe are seeking a Funding Team Coordinator to join our Perth-based funding team and play a key support role in the successful provision of Screenwest’s funding programs and initiatives.As the Funding Team Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders relating to Screenwest funding programs and initiatives. You will also provide day-to-day administrative support to the Funding Team on funding programs and initiatives, as well as assist with the ongoing management and coordination of grants funding programs, applications, and project tracking.Our ideal candidate will have strong administration skills as well as be an excellent communicator, with a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service to stakeholders at all levels.This opportunity is a full-time, two-year fixed-term contract.The role will be responsible for:Providing general administrative support to the funding team for designated programs and initiatives, including assessment panel coordination, scheduling, and minutes.Assisting in the administration and coordination of Screenwest funding programs and initiatives.Supporting with Board paper preparation, research, reporting, and correspondence relating to funding programs.Assisting the Head of Production in program tracking and budgets.Monitoring funded projects to ensure the delivery of milestones in accordance with contractual obligations, including liaising with grant applicants on a daily basis.Responding effectively to members of the screen industry and relevant stakeholders about Screenwest production programs and processes.Managing funding databases, Funding Administration procedures, and other organisational statistical tracking documents for funding program initiatives.Managing and taking responsibility for the ongoing implementation and maintenance of key online grants management tools including SmartyGrants and other grants management systems as relevant.The right person will be able to demonstrate / have experience with:Experience providing administrative support and well-developed keyboard and computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.Experience in a customer service or office environment.Excellent customer service skills including a professional, courteous, and friendly approach to all stakeholders.Experience in research and effective writing skills.Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.Experience in film and TV/screen sector, with an understanding of film and TV productions, is desirable.Knowledge of the WA film & TV industry is desirable.What’s in it for you:Contribute to the growth of a sustainable WA screen industry.Supportive team culture that values innovation and collaboration.Work from home every Wednesday.Other requirements:A current (within three months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required.Out of hours work may be required at times.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have experience in administration?What's your expected annual base salary?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
