About the opportunity
This is a leadership role within our delivery frontline operation, leading a team to prioritise safety, service, and cost.
You’ll also
* Provide high level advice and support coordination to assist the Delivery Manager and facility staff
* Drive performance and process improvement initiatives
* Assist in the Implementation and monitoring of all facets of Australia Post’s Diversity and OH&S Policies and Procedures
* Assist with the processing and delivery of letters and parcels as needed
* Coach and where needed conduct performance conversations
About you
You're motivated and able to bring the best out of people under your leadership.
You’ll also need
* Strong leadership and team building experience
* Experience in coaching and mentoring co-workers
* Strong customer service focus involving direct contact with customers
* Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
* Proven experience of prioritising, planning and scheduling.
* Ability to be flexible during periods of change
