Clinical leadership available One of Victoria’s leading tertiary teaching health services Excellent Salary package Position Support and assist the Unit Head, Dandenong Adult Mental Health Unit in the provision of high quality psychiatry services delivered through community and inpatient services consistent with the Health values. Provide comprehensive and high-quality psychiatric services to patients allocated at Monash Health demonstrating clinical leadership in service delivery through active involvement in patient care including but not limiting to in-patient services, out-patient services, community health and interdepartmental liaison services. To develop treatment plans, which as far as possible enable treatment in the least restrictive environment for patients of the service. Be available to medical colleagues for consultation and liaison as appropriate regarding patient care. Be immediately available for urgent consultation and assistance in resuscitation and subsequent management of critically ill or injured patients. Contribute to ongoing service improvement, clinical and workforce innovation to ensure the health service provides high quality accessible Psychiatry Services within allocated resources and meets the needs of the Health service patients. Support academic, research, education, training & supervision (both undergraduate and postgraduate) roles in the CCT and the service’s mental Health. Support the Adult Psychiatry Unit’s outreach services within Health service. Contribute to the professional and corporate life of Health service by participation in appropriate committees and forums.
