We'd love to hear from you!Our team of Flights Consultants work closely together to ensure end-to-end flight operations are managed and both our first-time and returning customers are provided with a first-class experience.The successful incumbent will hold experience in the travel sector, creating and issuing itineraries internationally, with a strong understanding of global geography and flights - ensuring our customers and internal staff have the best travel experience possible!Organisational StructureYou'll report to our Flight Operations Manager and work in a team that is dedicated to efficiently and effectively bringing the destination experience to life, seeing travel dreams come true.This permanent full-time position is 100% onsite working from our Byron Bay Head Quarters, working Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm - you choose!A Day in the LifeBook and ticket international airline tickets on behalf of TripADeal for their all-inclusive package dealsFacilitate customization and applicable service requests on behalf of TripADealUnderstanding and support of the business systems and platforms used to manage the ticketing processConduct searches to find the best available airfares for our valued customers, using the company GDS and other necessary systems.Perform the whole ticketing process requirementsCommunicate and liaise with relevant TripADeal stakeholders on bookings, deals, and issues that arise.Assist with resolving issues or escalated queriesFollow through on initiatives that help to drive revenue for the businessSupport of post-booking management processBooking and issuing of interval staff travel requirementsTo be a Front Running CandidateTertiary qualifications in customer service, event management, tourism, business, administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experienceHigh level of experience using a GDS system (Sabre is highly regarded but not essential)Demonstrated experience using Google Sheets and/or ExcelSound working knowledge and expertise in international airlines, with the know-how to navigate complicated international airfaresStrong attention to detail & focus on accuracyStrong time management and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to clearly communicate to a variety of stakeholdersAbility to work towards multiple tight deadlines concurrently and to prioritize tasks with a sense of urgencyAbility to forward think outcomes & be focused on the set outcomeWork both autonomously & part of a team to achieve a common goalThe successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background checkWhy TripADeal?Competitive salary packageLearn, develop and advance your career within TripADealFun, casual working environment, where shoes are optionalStaff travel discounts & benefitsEmployee Assistance Program$1,040 per annum of subsidised gym membershipsRegular social get-togethersSavings and discounts on groceries, electronics and homewaresVolunteer leave as part of giving back to the local communityGenerous parental leave support programSee your next destination as Flights Consultant for TripADeal?
