The business owns and operates a range of renewable energy infrastructure and gas transmission pipelines, ensuring a reliable source of energy for residential, commercial, and industrial customers across the state.
Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Role
As the Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing stay-in-business capital and operational projects, as well as providing technical expertise for long-term maintenance and reliability programs.
You will have overview and accountability of all Control, Electrical & Instrumentation systems, and assist with engineering design issues, system upgrades, and asset life extension.
* Develop proposals for future projects based on critical maintenance and EOL assets.
* Provide progress reports on engineering and capital projects works, including budget tracking and forecasting.
* Work with maintenance teams to ensure projects are handed over ready for operational use, with all relevant information and training provided.
* Lead and mentor staff to support their performance and development.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering discipline.
* Background in high-pressure pipeline and power generation systems or refinery/process plant operations.
* Knowledge in asset management, maintenance practices, and project management.
* Working knowledge of energy assets design and operation, including gas transmission systems, gas system hydraulics, thermodynamics, and compressor stations.
* Knowledge of pipeline industry Regulations, Codes, and Standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 60079, AS 2885).
* Natural leadership and ability to mentor Engineers and Maintenance staff.
* Be willing and able to travel intra/interstate when required.
* Located in Adelaide with unrestricted Australian working rights.
