Regional TSS Engineer – Comminution Weir Minerals Perth Airport Onsite Purpose of Role: We have 2 vacancies for Regional TSS Engineer's .
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide technical guidance and take responsibility for the HPGR and Comminution installed base across the APAC region.
TSS is customer focused and feeds the aftermarket business with aftermarket-projects e.g.
upgrades, modifications and field trials to win back spare parts or increase customers uptime.
The TSS department is the ''technical bridge'' between customers and Weir Minerals internal organization.
They are working in close cooperation with Engineering, Spare Parts, Sales and the Venlo Technology Group (VTG).

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to customers/regions worldwide to resolve complaints and increase satisfaction.
Troubleshoot issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), coordinate field testing, and propose technical solutions for upgrades, repairs, and reconditioning.
Analyze production processes and monitor field data to identify wear on equipment components and suggest efficiency and optimization improvements.
Handle Customer Non-Conformities (NCs) from the point of machine handover to the customer.
Coordinate, organize, and analyze technical customer queries to provide optimal solutions.
Build strong relationships with key and potential customers to meet their expectations.
Support sales teams by getting involved early in new business opportunities to deliver industry-leading products.
Monitor the performance of delivered equipment through site visits and end-user engagement to ensure best-in-class performance and support.
Take pre-emptive and remedial action when issues arise.
Monitor competitor activities.
Participate actively in industry events and working groups.
Collaborate with sales, aftermarket, engineering, and technology teams to develop strategies for winning new business and improving product offerings.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Engineering Degree – mechanical or electrical.
Minimum of 5 years' experience with minerals processing equipment or equivalent.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Proficiency in responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
Ability to work in a moderate office environment with regular site travel.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
