Control Systems Engineer | Mechatronic Engineer Aries Rail provides design, engineering, manufacturing, operational and maintenance solutions within the rail industry.
Headquartered in Perth's northern suburb of Wangara, Aries Rail has additional manufacturing and service facilities in Port Hedland, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Aries Rail design and manufacture unique specific engineered solutions for the rail industry, road-rail conversions on a wide variety of vehicles, lifting equipment, elevated work platforms and trailers.

Your responsibilities will include:
Consult internally to establish requirements and scope of works Work independently, designing, developing and implementing new and existing control system solutions Audit and electrically design new system solutions Liaise with auto electrical specialists to implement and document designed applications Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard Provide on-going support to Aries technicians and projects conducted out of state Continually improve and innovate on existing control systems Continually improve on documentation and design systems Support other offices remotely.
Final commissioning of new installation types interstate Essential Experience and Skills:
The ability to work independently Value add to design and production schedules Collaborate in a team to resolve production issues Automotive, Rail or Mining vehicle experience PLC system design and development Adhere to the philosophies, culture and practices of a DevOps environment Industrial communications, network design and development CAN – J1939 and CAN Open Experience with IFM PLC's or equivalent CODESYS Experience with SIL rated systems Current Australian Driving Licence All Applicants:
