Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure high-quality food presentation, adhering to property standards and meeting service timeframe expectations.
* Achieve set profit targets for the outlet by optimizing sales and minimizing costs.
* Demonstrate extensive product knowledge of menu items and seasonal ingredients, sharing expertise with the kitchen team.
* Stay informed about industry trends by engaging with peers and attending relevant events.
* Maintain a harmonious working environment within the kitchen and broader outlet team, promoting open communication during service periods.
* Foster collaboration among the kitchen team to ensure understanding and adherence to cuisine standards.
* Design and cost seasonal a-la-carte menus, targeting both in-house and local markets.
* Implement daily and weekly specials to drive sales and customer engagement.
* Monitor and achieve targets for cost of food and payroll.
* Conduct accurate monthly stock takes of consumables and maintain supplies at optimal levels.
* Ensure completion of daily mise-en-place lists and minimize waste through efficient cooking techniques.
* Maintain equipment in good working order, ensuring proper care and maintenance.
