Job Description An exciting opportunity in our team for an Experienced Payroll Officer on 3months FTC. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive environment. As Payroll Officer you will facilitates accurate and timely processing of a high-volume payroll function, including fortnightly time sheets for a casual workforce across multiple awards as well as fortnightly administrative payroll. You’ll also collaborate with HR, finance, and IT departments to streamline payroll operations and ensure accurate reporting. This position offers flexibility 60/40 hybrid in our Melbourne Office – St. Kilda Rd. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate the end-to-end processing and administration of the Primary Health Services payroll, partnering with the Primary Health Services and HCA Finance teams to ensure precision and integrity of payroll data. Ensure that pay related employee records are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements. Act as a key point of contact and respond to and resolve payroll enquiries and issues that may be escalated from front line and support staff. Interpret awards and update organisational records to ensure compliance. Identify and communicate payroll-related issues to relevant stakeholders. Support the processing of Superannuation, PAYG.
