PLI (Powerlift Industries) is a Karratha, Pilbara based leading service provider in the Mining and Resource industries and an expanding business.
THE OPPORTUNITY
PLI are seeking an Open Crane Operator with experience in all terrains cranes of up to 300T to join the Rio Tinto Cranes and Transport Department, Parker Point on a 9 month contract, commencing 23 December 2024.
***This role will require the successful applicant to be a local resident to Karratha or Dampier.***
ABOUT YOU
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Liebherr, Tadano, Grove, All Terrain Cranes
* Minimum 5 years' mine site experience will be highly regarded
* Able to work autonomously as well in a team
* Able to follow instructions and show initiative
* Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are met for the yard and its employees
* Focused on maintaining a clean and safe working environment as well as continuous improvement and conducting all work in accordance with quality and ISO standards
* Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process
REQUIREMENTS
* Proof of right to work in Australia (mandatory)
* Current and valid Australian (HR) drivers licence (mandatory)
* Valid High Risk Work Licence (mandatory)
* Minimum RI and CO qualification (mandatory)
* WAH (mandatory)
* White Card (mandatory)
* MSIC (highly desirable)
* Excellent attitude to safety
* Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
* Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol screening test.
