This position will have a core focus on generating specialised estimation services for our Industrial clients, as well as for our clients in Water, Power, Defence, and Buildings.You will be:Exposed to a wide range of projects across a variety of industries.Working alongside experienced estimators to build on, grow, and develop our specialist Australian team.Impacting the quality of our project delivery by ensuring robust estimation practices are followed across the team.Building capability while immediately supporting a range of projects across the globe.About youThis position would suit a degree qualified Engineer or Quantity Surveyor with experience in an applied environment, typically within the construction sector. You will be highly organised with outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes for the business and our clients. We also expect that you will:Have experience delivering estimates and understand the costs that form a total project cost – including direct costs, indirects, escalation, growth, and contingency.Have an understanding of general construction methodologies.Have experience on site and an understanding of prevailing market trends, construction costs, management of variations, and implementation contracts and risk mitigations.Provide technical advice around estimating while embracing a culture that values teamwork.Understand the different classes of estimate (AACE Class 1 to AACE Class 5) and their associated expected level of accuracy, estimating methodology, and end usage.Ready to Be involved.
