Cabinet Maker - Contract to Full Time Opportunity
Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join a NON EBA company in Melbourne's South East. The successful candidate will have the option to work 5 days a week with the possibility of Saturday work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ability to cut, assemble, and install all aspects of cabinetry.
* Operate machinery, including CNC, edge bander, and panel saw.
* Read and interpret architectural plans.
* Perform small amounts of manual handling to prepare jobs for site.
* Follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience post-cabinet making, shopfitting, or joinery qualification.
* Strong understanding of the cabinet making industry, including high-end residential, retail, and commercial sectors.
* Experience working with various materials, such as solid timber, veneers, laminates, and MDF.
* Own reliable transport and assembly tools.
* Must have the correct working rights to work in Australia.
* Safety-conscious and able to work in a busy environment.
