The Hospital coordinates the delivery of a broad range of community and allied services within the Meander Valley. We strive to deliver personalised care in a calm, welcoming and warm environment while being innovative and having a can-do attitude.The Role:The role will see you provide high level administrative and clerical support to the Director of Nursing. Maintain an efficient flow of information to and from the office. Undertake word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email services and maintenance of electronic diaries. Provide secretarial support in drafting, editing and preparation of routine correspondence, reports, statistical data and other documents as required.You will need:The Administrative Support Officer works under general direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing while supporting and working with other staff as required.Provide efficient and effective provision of administrative, clerical and reception support services with an expectation to exercise discretion and initiative in carrying out tasks.Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative systems which ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures and promotes a quality improvement approach to the delivery of administrative services.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of Appointment:Fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.Salary:$66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata).
