The Role
The purpose of this role is to manage a specific group of key customers ensuring the highest level of service is provided while building solid relationships with the main stake holders. Also ensuring budgeted sales and margins are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain exceptional service levels for existing customers - ensuring close liaison on a daily and weekly basis
2. Secure new business with customers while maintaining sales and business requirements with existing accounts
3. Ensure customer delivery and customer service expectations are fulfilled
4. Identify potential areas for growth within existing accounts
5. Advise customers of the total PFD product range and supply price trends
6. Advise manager and sales team of critical considerations or developments affecting customers and key accounts
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
7. Proficiency in learning a product range quickly
8. Good understanding of the food service or FMCG industry
9. Previous account management experience
10. Superior selling and negotiating ability
11. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
12. Good organisational and time management skills
13. Solid computer literacy
