The Team: The Cath Lab is integrated within the Perioperative Precinct.
We accommodate elective, inpatient, and emergency procedures within the Cath Lab.
We are the THS tertiary referral centre for Southern Tasmania for adult patients with cardiac conditions, requiring diagnostic and interventional angiography, heart studies and cardiac implantable devices and provide a state-wide service for electrophysiology (EP) studies and structural heart procedures.
The RHH Cath lab team provide an on call Code STEMI and emergency service for the South of Tasmania.
We are a collaborative multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals providing excellent cardiac care to a high standard.
The Role: Duties will include learning a variety of skills pertaining to the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Roles will include scrubbing, scouting (pre, intra and post procedure care) and nurse lead sedation for a wide variety of Cardiac Cath Lab diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Details of appointment: Multiple Permanent full time or part time, day worker (with on-call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type.Salary Packaging: You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
