HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced EL1 level Assistant Director, Change Management for a transformative role within a key federal government initiative in Deakin / Canberra, ACT.

In this role, you'll exercise leadership and autonomy to deliver impactful change initiatives, liaising with diverse stakeholders to drive operational and strategic outcomes.
* Lead a specialist team in designing and implementing change strategies aligned with our client's goals.
* Manage stakeholder relationships with key internal and external partners, including disability community members.
* Coordinate change management activities to ensure on-time, budget-conscious delivery and support our client's Crack Down on Fraud (CDoF) program.
* Conduct change impact assessments and proactively address change resistance through targeted interventions.
* Ensure effective communications to empower leaders as champions of change across the organisation.

About You:
Bring your expertise and passion for change management to this meaningful role. We're looking for a leader with the following skills and qualifications:
* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a change manager or business analyst.
* Certified in Change Management (such as CMI, Prosci, or Agile Change).
* Skilled in designing and implementing inclusive change strategies that align with organisational objectives.
* Strong communicator, able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across varied sectors.
* Experience in identifying change impacts and mitigating resistance effectively.
