We are seeking an experienced, adaptable and team-oriented AHA to join our growing workforce. Our team of 12 skilled AHA's work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary model across the inpatient and community settings of NHW to support Allied Health Professionals in delivering high quality, person-centred interventions. This position would provide the successful applicant with opportunities for a variety of experiences across the admitted and community settings working alongside and learning from highly skilled health professionals. The successful applicant will demonstrate teamwork and an appreciation of multidisciplinary practice, the ability to work independently within the Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant scope of practice and seek advice/support where required. Opportunities for on-the-job competencies in specialist areas such as Videofluoroscopy Swallow Study, lymphoedema management and basic foot care will be provided to the right applicant. A Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant Qualification is vital, along with demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in the provision of AHA duties.
