As a key member of the IT Infrastructure team, you will be providing a wide range of infrastructure services across the business.
Responsibilities:
* Provide escalation support troubleshooting and support across a broad suite of infrastructure and networking equipment
* Support, patch and upgrade various systems and server software packages
* Support and manage remote app environments
* Assist in automating repetitive tasks
* Manage various IT security platforms including ATP, EOP, and Next Gen firewalls
* Assist in delivering major infrastructure upgrades and transformations
* Action security objectives as outlined by vCISO
* Engage and assist in the management of external service providers
* Configure and manage monitoring tools
* Assist with supporting the overall Service Delivery function including Service Desk, Network Support, Applications Support, and IT Governance
* Support and contribute to all technical elements of ITIL and service management
* Actively contribute to a customer-centric team service focus
* Drive an unrelenting focus on protecting the overall IT environment by implementing and enforcing best practices that ensure continuity of IT services
* Contribute to ongoing documentation and update of procedures and internal processes
* A can-do attitude, and whatever it takes approach
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience with at least 5 years in a senior technical role
* Demonstrated customer service focused attitude and approach mandatory
* Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Familiarity with ticketing, incident, problem and change management systems
* Solid experience in delivering enterprise-wide IT services within a national organisation
* Strong continuous improvement and learning approach
