Gold Fields' mining assets in the Australia region include a 100% interest in the St Ives, Agnew and Granny Smith mines and a 50:50 interest in the Gruyere JV project with Gold Road Resources.
Reporting to the Electrical Coordinator at St Ives, you will be responsible for quality and timely preventative electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation as required and ensure all work carried out is aligned with Gold Fields and operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations.
This role is offered as residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie on 8 days on, 6 days off. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates.

Employee Assistance Program Long service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous service Educational assistance About the role: Preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repair of plant equipment. Provide reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge and expertise to minimise down time. Working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures to adhere to when carrying out maintenance tasks. Maintain a high level of housekeeping through workshops and wherever work is carried out. Previous experience with SAP Fiori. Be comfortable working in small team environment. About you: An unrestricted WA Electrical License. A Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation. Proven experience in electrical & instrumentation maintenance of a mineral processing plant, preferably gold. Basic Computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs. A current High Voltage qualification is desirable along with working at heights, EWP and confined space qualifications. A current LV Rescue and CPR certification are also very desirable. Extensive knowledge of process technologies and equipment including working with SCADA/HMI systems. A valid current manual Driver's License.
