Our network of small local teams enables Chorus people to be more connected to each other and feel a sense of belonging.About the roleWe are currently seeking applications for a Support Worker specialising in Gardening & Home Maintenance. This position aims to deliver gardening and maintenance services to seniors and NDIS clients, facilitating their ability to remain in their homes for an extended period, while also serving customers in the nearby areas.Responsibilities:Provide fantastic customer service skills.Provide support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities.Be a team player.Demonstrate good written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.Utilize basic computer and paperwork skills.Adopt a safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team.Keep up with the physical demands of a gardening role.Work across other services to spend time with customers (this may include domestic assistance, social support, group activities).Qualifications:A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential.Prerequisites:A NDIS Worker Screening Check.Current Western Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions.Your own vehicle.Rights to work in Australia.Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply).How to Apply:Please submit your application online and include your current resumé.Shortlisting will commence immediately.Chorus is an equal opportunity employer.
