Annually, the RCH has 300,000+ Specialist Clinic appointments, 90,000+ Emergency Department presentations and 20,000 elective surgeries.RCH enjoys high employee engagement and is committed to staff safety and a positive culture through enactment of our Compact.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse to undertake a Permanent Full Time position at 1 FTE (80 hours) per fortnight within the Kookaburra, Cancer Care ward. This role is an integral part of our leadership team in the Division of Medicine, and will oversee the operations, clinical and professional governance for the ward. In this role you will effectively lead and manage the team in the Kookaburra, Cancer Care ward to provide comprehensive care and services to address the clinical, physical, social and psychological needs of patients and their families. You will be responsible for enabling a positive work environment and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient and family centred care, that contributes to the RCH's operational excellence framework.
