Description Detailed Job Description As a Mechanical Fitter, your responsibilities will include: Performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy vehicles and mobile equipment. Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company maintenance standards. Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and keep the fleet running efficiently. Attending to breakdowns on a rostered basis (overtime available). Maintaining accurate service records and documentation. Profile Candidate's Profile To be successful in this role, you should have: A qualification as a Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant, Light Vehicle, or Diesel Mechanic, or be an Auto-Electrician with relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently. A solid understanding of workplace safety procedures. Willingness to work an afternoon shift (2 PM to Midnight). A collaborative mindset with a strong team-oriented attitude.
