To support the Store Manager with executing the store strategy, leading and developing a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and high standards of customer service using the prescribed customer sales model. You will be a member of the team with excellent skills in operational governance. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to create a high performing team by coaching and empowering others to fulfill operational requirements and achieve their performance targets.

Our Rosny Park store is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to join their team on a Full Time basis. This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, overseeing a retail team with a unique buzz and energy at Telstra within a dynamic team environment.
What you’ll do
* Oversee the induction of your new team members
* Coach the store’s team to meet (and exceed) store targets
* Help support your team with customer query escalations
* Be the Store Manager’s right-hand person, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed
* Execute business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics
* Act as team cheerleader – leading from the front and helping to motivate the team, fostering an awesome store culture
* Organise the store floor and team’s work schedules, to meet customer demand
About you
* You have previous experience in a retail leadership/assistant management role
* You’re able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
* You lead from the front and can influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team
* You’re able to resolve customer issues with your eyes closed and can put a creative spin on problem solving
* You’re an excellent communicator who can help support the Store Manager in taking team members through change
