Responsibilities include: Undertake financial monitoring and reviewing activities to ensure financial data integrity, compliance with internal control requirements, and identifying opportunities for business process improvements.Provide a financial compliance check and liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders ensuring that departmental financial policies, practices and processes have been followed.Provide financial support across a range of activities, including analysis of financial data, financial reporting using the department's electronic financial systems (SAP), assisting with monthly reporting processes, generation of accruals, identifying and investigating transactions in general ledger accounts and Corporate Division cost centres.Deliver accounts payable and receivable functions and perform operational finance activities, including raising purchase order requisitions, payment of supplier invoices, master data maintenance, and utilising FieldGlass for contractor engagements.Provide timely advice on these processes to internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrating an understanding of accounting concepts in relation to, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal completion and accrual accounting in accordance with financial legislative requirements.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/601148/24Closing Date: Wednesday, 13 November 2024 #J-18808-Ljbffr
