The role:
1. Assist the Chief Radiographer in the management of Tasmanian Diagnostic Breast Imaging Service (TDBIS) to optimise patient care outcomes.
2. Perform complex mammography and interventional breast radiography procedures, using digital equipment, exercising professional judgment. Maintain professional knowledge and skill base ensuring continued competency and professional growth.
3. In consultation with the system business owners at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) provide specialist support, liaising with stakeholders to assist them in their usage of the RIS/PACS to effectively meet operational needs.
4. Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the quality improvement and assurance activities for the Tasmanian Diagnostic Breast Imaging Service (TDBIS), including the review of protocols and procedures to ensure all documentation is current and complete.
5. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Tasmanian Diagnostic Breast Imaging Service (TDBIS) clinics, liaising with staff at all levels regarding its operation and function.

Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 December 2023 until 4 June 2024

Location: Hobart, Tasmania
Salary: $116,616 to $130,357 per annum + 11% superannuation
7. Please note that access to salaries beyond $122,908 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
8. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
