We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, permanent role, you will lead design projects from concept through to completion, providing creative direction, managing client relationships, and overseeing the work of junior designers. Your responsibilities will include client consultations, design review, project site visits, and assisting with administrative and social media content creation.
You will also support showroom styling and collaborate on joinery drawings, quotations, and project documentation. This position requires a strong design background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Availability to work Saturdays is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome clients upon arrival, and handle phone inquiries. Conduct client consultations and site measures as required. Assist clients with selections for materials, products, and other interior elements. Provide design support for concept development, working drawings, council submissions, and project quotes. Review and refine joinery drawings, ensuring accuracy and functionality. Lead and support design teams, offering guidance and mentorship. Review and assess design work, quotations, and budgets to ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards. Style and maintain showroom displays, ensuring they are fresh and engaging. Coordinate and participate in project photoshoots and produce social media content for site updates. Provide administrative support as required. Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a Senior Interior Designer role (minimum 5 years). Experience with residential interior design, specifically renovations. Extensive knowledge of design principles, materials, and trends. Proficiency in Revit design software. Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. Exceptional communication and client liaison skills. A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Must be able to work Saturdays (10am - 4pm). Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
