The Role: Lindsay Transport is currently seeking Forklift Driver's to join the team in our Melbourne depot based in Derrimut.
The current rosters we have available are:
Tuesday – Saturday nightshiftMonday - Friday afternoon shiftYour main responsibilities will include: Loading and unloading vehiclesMoving freight to and from storage areasLoad trucks in accordance with the load sheetStabilisation equipment is used as requiredFridge motor temperatures are set correctly & checked prior to vehicle departurePrimarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distributionAbout You: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
Have a valid forklift licence and experience in this classHave warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking experienceHave experience loading and unloading trucksHave refrigeration experience (preferred)Be reliable and punctual with good communication skillsBe able to adhere to transport documentationPast experience in logistics, warehousing or transportation or experience with refrigerated vans and tautliners or chilled produce is well respected for this role but not essential To be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testBe flexible and able to work over weekends if requiredLindsay Australia operates with a culture of honesty and openness.
