Currently they have a vacancy for a fill-time carpenter, who have the skills and experience and work independently.Main Tasks:• Reviewing construction drawings and specifications to assess material requirements, dimensions, and the correct installation methods for various projects.• Selecting and ordering timber and materials according to project specifications and preparing accurate layouts for construction.• Cutting, shaping, and assembling materials, then fastening them together to build structural components and fittings.• Constructing frameworks and roof structures, installing sub-floors and floorboards, and ensuring the alignment and accuracy of all structures.• Installing fascia panels, roof sheathing, and external cladding, as well as fitting door and window frames with precision and attention to detail.• Assembling pre-prepared timber components to form structural elements and fixtures, ready for installation.• Cutting and shaping wood joints to achieve strong and precise connections in carpentry projects.• Building and dismantling concrete formwork for foundations and slabs, ensuring proper structure support.• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on existing timber structures, replacing or restoring fittings as needed.• Working with various materials, such as plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals, for specialized carpentry tasks.Eligibility Criteria:• AQF Certificate III with on-job two years of training, or AQF Certificate IV• Full-time working rights in Australia• At least 2 years of experience as carpenterSalary - $85,000 - $90,0000 plus superOnly suitable applicants will be contacted.
