Do you take pride in keeping things running smoothly? As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping our facility in top working condition. This job requires a solid background in maintenance, preferably within a windows and doors manufacturing environment, to ensure smooth daily operations. From mechanical to electrical, plumbing to production equipment, you’ll maintain and repair systems across our office and plant environments, handling both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with precision.In this full-time on-site position, you’ll use your skills and experience to handle emergency repairs, daily maintenance, and preventative upkeep across our office and plant environments. You’ll work closely with a small, dynamic team and be the go-to person for keeping things operational.Key Responsibilities:Set up and lead the maintenance program: Develop, implement, and manage maintenance schedules that keep everything running like clockwork.Take charge of maintenance tasks: Respond efficiently to both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, from replacing saw blades to keeping the facility in top shape.Be a safety role model: Prioritize the safety of your team by adhering to all safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out, PPE requirements, and best practices. Lead by example to maintain a safe and secure work environment for everyone.Ensure smooth operations: Conduct periodic inspections and tests, identify and address any issues, and make sure all work orders are completed on time.Be a problem-solver: Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, manuals, and instructions to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.Collaborate with external vendors: Follow up with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure repairs are completed on time and meet our high standards.Keep track of inventory: Manage spare parts inventory to ensure you have the necessary supplies on hand for seamless operations.Be a proactive leader: Work closely with management to review reports and ensure that the team is continually improving and meeting production goals.Skills and Requirements:Strong background as a Maintenance Technician, preferably with experience in a windows and doors manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems, and proficiency with the necessary tools and equipment.Skilled in using hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks and complete work orders.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.Willingness to work extended hours and be available for emergency maintenance needs.Familiarity with MS Office Suite, MS Excel, and database systems to maintain accurate records and logs.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day.Education & Experience:Postgraduate education or relevant Trades certification.4+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in the windows and doors manufacturing industry.Previous experience leading projects and teams.Why Stage Windows & Doors?100% Employer-Paid Benefits upon successful completion of probation.Competitive Salary with opportunities for growth and career advancement.Dynamic Work Environment: Enjoy an engaging and supportive company culture where teamwork and safety are prioritized.Performance Recognition: We recognize and reward hard work, innovation, and commitment to excellence.Ready to join a team that values your skills and invests in your future?
