An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Podiatrist to deliver high level podiatry clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS) with a primary focus on the high-risk foot. Queensland Hospital and Health Service (HHS) Podiatrists provide best practice care for clients with acute and high-risk foot disease. This position is based at Gympie hospital however will have requirement to rotate across SCHHS as per Allied Health Rotation Guidelines.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Deliver independent high level podiatry clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
2. Undertake clinical governance activities, such as the development of clinical practices and guidelines that support the continuum of care.
3. Provide clinical advice and education to professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery, utilising high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to influence the culture towards a common, patient-centred vision and direction.

Remuneration value up to $152,776 p.a., comprising salary between $124,435 - $133,901 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $62.75 - $67.53 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4(1) (Permanent Full Time, 76hrs p.f and/or Permanent Part- Time hrs negotiable).
