Our client is a well-known player in the Healthcare space. As a large organisation, they have a significant presence and are well-regarded for their commitment to the community. They're on the hunt for a dedicated Digital Communications Coordinator with a passion for the Healthcare industry and an eye for detail. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and maintaining the voice of a new website. You'll work closely with the team, focusing on crafting clear, concise and policy-driven content. Your work will have a direct impact on ensuring the site meets the highest standards of accessibility and usability.
Description
* Develop, write, and edit web content that is clear, accessible, and user-friendly.
* Ensure all content complies with Plain Language principles and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
* Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to translate complex information into engaging digital content.
* Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across government web platforms
* Use content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, or Squiz Matrix to publish and manage content.
* Conduct SEO research and apply best practices to improve website visibility.
* Ensure compliance with Victorian Government style guides and digital standards.
Profile
* A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
* 2+ years experience with copy writing and web writing.
* Experience working with Plain Language principles and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
* Knowledge of website management and digital marketing principles.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
