Role
The Reception person will ensure that they
1. Monitor the school phone
2. Greet and support community members that have inquiries
3. Oversee the mail ¿ incoming and outgoing, including the collection of mail from the College Post Office Box
4. Coordinate Compass Cards for all students, staff and visitors to site
5. Support the College Leadership Team when appointments arrive
6. Oversee meeting room bookings in the Administration wing
7. Provide support for the other admin staff when necessary
8. Refer students to Houses for timetables, print out, can't find their class, finding teachers
9. Respond to general enquiries
10. Coordinate the collection of students for when parents are taking from school for early appointments or other commitments
11. Support Finance with banking, EFT & cash payments as required
12. Assist with sickbay when needed
13. Record student information on CASES/Compass as required
The role will include portfolio items from the Comms department:
14. Developing promotional items such as flyers as directed by Comms Team.
15. Assist in updating and maintaining digital displays across the College
16. Maintain official College images and relevant publishing permissions
17. Work in conjunction with Comms Team on College Yearbook
18. Manage and coordinate invitations and RSVPs for College events
19. Arrange catering for whole College events
20. Assist with updating and maintaining the College Website
21. Assist with Compass messaging.
Other duties as directed by the Executive Principal
Responsibilities
22. Create a positive culture of belonging, care, high expectations and learning within their team and the College
23. Provide high level support to the Executive Coordinator
24. Proactively build a positive working relationship with all other ES staff
25. Attend and actively contribute to relevant meetings and events
26. Support and encourage staff to share ideas, strategies and resources
