Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client & Member Service team at Mercer Administration Services. This role will be based in Wollongong. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will lead and manage a dedicated superannuation team, ensuring a member-focused team ethos and achievement of agreed service level standards.
The position offers professional exposure across a broad range of functions as well as the ability for interactions with clients and could be a great steppingstone into Senior Leader opportunities.
Team Leader, Client & Member Services
We will count on you to:
1. Lead a superannuation administration services team that is responsible for end-to-end superannuation processing and/or related specialist activities (e.g. contributions and refunds, benefit payments, member maintenance, insurance, document management)
2. Drive the performance of all employees within the team
3. Prepare, implement and review team plans/budgets
4. Provide operational direction to day-to-day activities including responses to requests for information/service and appropriate record keeping across the team
5. Manage the administrative performance of the team against key service level agreements.
What you need to have:
6. Experience managing teams within a high volume, operational environment, preferably within the superannuation, banking and finance, insurance or similar industry
7. The ability to drive team performance, initiative and improvement with a customer-centric focus
8. Experience with workflow management tools and translating data to make effective resourcing decisions
9. Experience in the management of Service Level Agreements with a proven track record of achievement.

10. Knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to the superannuation industry would be well regarded however not essential.
