Aged and Home Care Worker Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Aged and Home Care Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services in Port Macquarie, New South Wales. As a Part-time employee, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with personal care requirements, including showering and toileting.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
* Assist clients with daily living activities, such as cooking and cleaning.
* Transport clients to appointments and outings, if required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in aged or home care is highly desirable.
* Relevant qualifications, such as Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, are essential.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to obtain Comprehensive Car Insurance and First Aid/CPR certificates, if required.
