Lux Bistro Bar is seeking a restaurant manager to join our team. This is a full-time position with remuneration between $73,150-$85,000 plus super, depending on experience.
The role
We are looking for a confident, warm and highly skilled Restaurant Manager with experience leading a team in fast-paced restaurants and a meticulous eye for detail. The role is all-encompassing, reporting directly to the General Manager/Owner. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Setting and maintaining the high service standards Management of reservations to maximise the restaurants capacity, including functions Supervising and training of staff Analysing and managing pricing of goods to suit budgeting requirements Identify and develop areas of improvement Rostering, staff hiring and training with financial accountability, performance appraisals and succession planning Consulting with key stakeholders and chefs on menu planning Working with senior management to consistently reach clear and achievable KPI's You will need to have excellent guest engagement, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. A relevant Hospitality qualification is also preferred. You must have a genuine love of hospitality and the industry itself. Being a strong, calm and effective communicator is a must. You will lead by example to maintain the positive and supportive culture amongst our team. Competent skills in Microsoft Office, POS and reservation programs are essential.
