Position Details
* Join a committed team as a Senior Staff Specialist - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with Tasmania Health, where you will:
* Serve a diverse patient population across northern Tasmania, covering public and private sectors.
* Take part in elective and acute surgeries, outpatient clinics, and provide essential consultative services to other specialty units.
* Engage actively in research, quality assurance, and teaching programs, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in patient care.
* Mentor and support Registrars and Residents, including involvement in SET Registrar training and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Benefits
* Competitive Salary: $210,000 - $301,349 per annum, pro rata, plus 11.5% superannuation and salary packaging.
* Allowances: $28,389 motor vehicle allowance and $16,480 continuing professional development allowance per annum, pro rata.
* Relocation Support: Up to $15,000 available for eligible candidates to assist with relocation and commencement.
Requirements
* Specialist Registration: Must hold AHPRA Specialist registration as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.
* Eligibility for International Medical Graduates (IMG): IMGs with recognised overseas specialist qualifications who meet experience requirements are encouraged to apply.
* Working with Children Registration: Required, where applicable.
