About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team at Bradnam's Windows and Doors. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring our high-quality windows and doors are delivered safely and efficiently to our valued customers across Australia.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Safely operate and maintain delivery trucks, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
* Secure all items on the truck before travel, ensuring safe transportation to customer sites.
* Follow all required hygiene and sanitation procedures to maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness.
* Complete all required paperwork and check sheets on time, ensuring accuracy.
* Contribute to a clean and organized branch environment through good housekeeping practices.
* Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices and follow all safety protocols.
* Maintain driver diary and supporting paperwork in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
* Assist with loading and unloading the truck, ensuring products are handled with care.
* Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery instructions and provide updates as needed.
* Adhere to customer site requirements, including mandatory PPE and sign-in procedures.
* Perform any other reasonable duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the role.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A current (manual) driver's license with a clean driving record
* MR/HR License
* Prior experience in truck driving, with a commitment to high standards of service
* Knowledge and commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling of heavy loads
* Strong communication skills, reliability, and a great work ethic
