Qualified Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter Required Your new company Our client is a well-established manufacturing plant located in Tweed Heads, operating for over 60 years. They run a large family business and have established a reputable brand within the industry. Your new role Due to expansion, our client is now seeking a number of qualified mechanical fitters and boilermakers to assist with the maintenance and continuous operation of our clients equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. Assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving of gearboxes, mill trains, crushers, and pumps. Providing timely, safe, and efficient maintenance services, handling both planned and unplanned jobs, and ensuring high standards. Maintaining factory operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations to keep equipment running smoothly. What you'll need to succeed Certificate III in Engineering 612 months of experience as a Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter Confined Space, EWP and Safe Working at Heights Certificate (preferred but not essential). High-level reasoning ability to make sound decisions based on analysis, evaluation of information, experience, and judgement. Heavy Industrial/Shutdown experience Proven exposure to working on a wide range of equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines, motors, gearboxes, boilers and turbines Ability to fabricate small & large components Competent in interpreting drawings Machine maintenance and troubleshooting experience Organisational skills and ability to prioritise Commitment and good attitude to safety and culture Teamwork and willingness to co-operatively share What you'll get in return Work in a great environment and be part of an awesome team Full-time hours, ongoing opportunity The chance to become part of a renowned industry leader.
