This role offers a rare opportunity for an experienced and skilled Regional Manager to lead and develop senior branch staff to ensure the profitability and sustainability of the Southern branches. As the Regional Manager - South, you will have overall accountability and responsibility to provide safe, efficient, cost-effective, and profitable operations for the transport fleet and workshop in accordance with client expectations and comply with all company policies and procedures. You will need: Strong business, operational and commercial acumen in the transport/logistics industries At least 5 years experience in a similar role Proven client management skills to drive positive business outcomes Demonstrated history of consistently delivering financial and service-related outcomes Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement efficient processes to enable continuous improvement Demonstrated experience in management roles, particularly in delegation, resource planning, staff mentoring, and project management Demonstrated evidence of facilitating clear communication and direction to staff at all levels, including situation analysis and decision-making Broad knowledge of the Fair Work Act, the Work Health and Safety Act and state and federal legislative requirements Strong understanding of financial management and analysis of financial data Solid numeracy and literacy competency and intermediate levels of computer literacy, especially MS Excel, MS Word Capability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout all levels of the business Exceptional understanding of the transport and bulk haulage industry and associated legislative compliance If you would like to be considered for this role, please click the 'apply' button and submit your resume and cover letter outlining why you would be the best fit for this position and our company.
