About the role
Niche is a company that has experienced continuous growth year on year. We have a dynamic and resourceful team located on the east coast of Australia.
Were seeking experienced Project Managers with who have led multidisciplinary environmental projects, who have a passion for project management and can support our growth and assist our heritage team consultants with delivering on our commitments to our key clients. Youd be leading and managing a portfolio of heritage projects.
As an experienced Project Management, these roles would be an integral function to ensure the successful delivery of our heritage projects. Working closely with our heritage project teams, you be required to plan and develop strategy for the projects you oversee and improve on internal processes and protocols to ensure the quality of our projects are aligned.
Were flexible on location. We have a number of offices across NSW and QLD and have a flexible working environment for those who wish to work from home.

This role will best suit someone who will take pride in ensuring excellence in their project delivery and has a knack for working on complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Specifically, we are looking for:
9. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within a consultancy firm, with knowledge of heritage/ecology fields, or of working on multidisciplinary projects.
10. Tertiary qualifications with demonstrable technical project management experience.
11. You will have the ability to lead and inspire specialist disciplinary teams, to engage and develop the capability of those within your projects to drive the project toward milestones and conclusion.
12. External Project Management accreditation would be highly favoured (but not essential)
13. Ability to successfully manage safety, time, cost, quality, and risk elements.
14. A history of effective contract management, resourcing planning and delivery management.
15. You must possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and develop excellent working relationships with clients, and other internal and external stakeholders.
16. Precise attention to detail and ability to produce professional quality deliverables on time and on budget.
17. Produces deliverables that are high quality, accurate and complete including a quality assurance review.
18. High level of proficiency with the Microsoft 0365 suite of programs, including MS Project is critical.

Heritage management
Niche provides specialist cultural heritage services to a wide range of industry sectors and to clients of various scale. Our experienced archaeologists and heritage professionals work closely with project proponents, landholders, local communities and traditional owners to provide site assessments, management plans, archival recording and analysis and conservation advice.
This role reports to Morgan Disspain who currently leads Niche's Heritage Team for NSW & QLD. Morgans cultural heritage career has spanned over 14 years and has incorporated both academic and consulting experience. She has extensive experience in cultural heritage management in NSW, QLD, and WA, and has carried out archaeological research projects in NT, SA, QLD, and South America.
