About the role SensesWA Physiotherapists mainly have a community-based role delivering interventions where our clients live their lives: in homes, schools, and other community settings. Therapists work closely in dedicated and supportive transdisciplinary teams to provide family and person-centred evidence-based supports to our clients. Our goal is to enable our clients to live their best lives! Our therapists work with infants, children and/or adults with various disability diagnoses including autism spectrum disorders and clients with vision and hearing impairments as well as a range of other conditions/disabilities. Our therapists work within a general caseload of paediatric and adult clients with the flexibility to tailor caseloads based on individual interests and expertise. What you will bring to the role Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) A current drivers licence, Working With Children (WWC) Check, NDIS Workers screen and First Aid certification. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the transdisciplinary team. Ability to assess, plan, implement and deliver person-centered evidence-informed services. Strong organisational and time management skills. Passion and commitment for working collaboratively with clients and families to build their capacity and improve their life outcomes. Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development. Previous experience working with clients with disabilities and their families is highly desirable but not essential.
