You are responsible for developing multilevel customer relationships to deliver market growth for the Sandvik range of Surface Drills within Western Australia, Mining.Areas of responsibilityBusiness Growth and DevelopmentCreate and execute medium to long term strategies for Surface DrillsWork with and alongside Account Managers within their respective accounts to develop Surface Drills businessFacilitate training and knowledge transfer of Sandvik Surface Drills to Sales, Service, Parts, and Logistics personnelSupport the development of infrastructure necessary to support the Surface Drills fleetBe aware of the financial performance of the business and seek to support the Sales group in growing revenue.Responsible for assisting with the development and management of sales budgetsProvide audit and consulting services at client's sites for the purpose of identifying improvement and value add opportunities.Undertake product application process support from initial conceptualization of solution to delivery of operational outcome.Conduct product trials to determine performance, and compile reports to share with internal and external stakeholders.Sales ManagementLead a team of Sales Professionals to grow the Surface Drills business in Western Australia.Meet revenue targets through direct personal customer management and through the development of a high-performance sales team.Manage and control expenses within budget for the sales team.Through the sales teams and Customer Service ensure Customers receive the highest level of service and responsiveness.Manage all resources in the market area to ensure an optimum balance between a high level of customer service satisfaction and attainment of financial objectives.Assess technical issues with all Australia supplied equipment and prepare/submit quotations for rectification.Assist with distribution of bulletins and alerts for all Sales Area Australia productsYour profileWe are looking for an independent, efficient, adaptable, proactive, commercially minded, and astute individual with either a relevant trade qualification or degree and proven extensive mining industry experience in Surface sales or a business development role.
An in-depth understanding of customer business processes, with at least 5 years' active involvement in technical product knowledge of Surface drilling is an advantage.Additionally, you have excellent Relationship Development and Sales negotiation skills and can build trust and establish respectful working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, by clearly communicating verbally and in writing, appropriately debating difficult issues and by being a quick thinker.You have demonstrated capacity to work in team environments, strong computer skills including advanced experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent presentation skills (both physical and electronic).You are willing and able to lead across differing geographies and cultures.
You must be willing and able to manage your time effectively, prioritize without micro-management with well-developed understanding of the mining industry and associated equipment would be essential.Agencies need not apply.You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.
