Job Description: IT PMO (Contract Role) - ERP & Retail Technology ImplementationLocation: ChadstoneContract Duration: 6 MonthsReports To: Head of OperationsAbout The RoleThe client is undertaking a significant technology transformation that includes:Migration from SAP S4 HANA to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC)Integration of Shopify ECOM, Shopify POS, Manhattan WMS, and Employment Hero (HR & Payroll)Retail store network upgradeShopify POS rollout across all storesSeeking a highly skilled IT PMO (Project Management Office Lead) on a contract basis to oversee the successful delivery of these projects. This role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills to ensure seamless execution. The IT PMO will work closely with business teams, IT Service Delivery Specialists, and external vendors to drive the project to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Migration & System IntegrationsLead the migration from SAP S4 HANA to Microsoft D365 BC, ensuring a smooth transition.Oversee integrations with key platforms:Shopify ECOM & POSManhattan WMS (3PL DC)Employment Hero (HR & Payroll)Define and manage the end-to-end implementation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business requirements.Facilitate data migration, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and go-live activities.Store Network Upgrade & Shopify POS RolloutManage the upgrade of the retail store network infrastructure to support new technology implementations.Oversee the end-to-end rollout of Shopify POS across 93 stores, ensuring seamless integration with D365 BC.Coordinate pilot store testing, user training, and progressive deployment across locations.Develop and monitor POS performance metrics post-implementation.Stakeholder & Change ManagementAct as the primary liaison between IT, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, and E-commerce teams.Capture, document, and align business requirements across all functions.Work closely with the IT Service Delivery Specialist to ensure a smooth transition and support structure.Develop and execute a change management plan to drive system adoption and minimize disruptions.Communicate project updates, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership.Project Governance & Risk ManagementEstablish a structured project governance framework, including steering committee meetings and reporting.Identify potential risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met, with proactive issue resolution.Maintain clear project documentation, ensuring compliance with best practices and internal standards.Key Qualifications & Experience5+ years of IT Project Management / PMO experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or ERP implementations.Proven experience with ERP migrations (SAP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC preferred).Expertise in e-commerce (Shopify), POS (Shopify POS), and warehouse management systems (Manhattan WMS).Experience managing IT infrastructure upgrades across multi-site retail locations.Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across various business functions.Change management expertise, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.Experience working with external vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators.Budget management, timeline planning, and risk mitigation expertise.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Why Join Us?Lead a major technology transformation for a globally recognized ethical brand.Work with cutting-edge retail and ERP technology.Collaborate across functions, gaining exposure to key areas of the business.Competitive contract terms with an opportunity to make a significant impact.Application Process:If you are a results-driven IT PMO with experience in ERP migrations, integrations, and retail technology projects, apply now.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Yash Jain on 03 8680 4238 or email yjain@paxus.com.au and quote the above job reference number.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people living with a disability.
