Acu-Tech, a nationwide leader in the manufacture and supply polyethylene pipe, products and services, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Business Improvement (BI) team.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
· Design and develop customized software, automation and network solutions, for existing
infrastructure and future projects.
· Code and configure software programs, including AI integration across multiple systems
and ensure Streamline3 compatibility.
· Regularly test, debug and repair applications minimising downtime and errors.
· Periodically analyse and report on existing solutions, performance and security.
· Provide recommendations for software and application development, including hardware,
communications and systems requirements.
· Create and maintain technical workflows, procedures and end user training material.
· Research and propose new solutions to strive for continual improvement.
· Consult and advise with key stakeholders and decision makers on new applications for
system development.
· Provide system engineering support as required.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
· Degree in Software Engineering or 5 years equivalent experience in Software Engineer’s
role.
· Proficient in writing SQL and Java Script.
· Experience designing applications in a StreamLine3 environment
· Strong analytical, research, project managements skills.
· Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
· A high attention, accuracy and exceptional organizational skills.
· Be a team player with a can-do attitude.
