G.James Windows and Doors fabricates, sells and installs a wide range of aluminium windows and doors to the residential and commercial construction markets.
The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for a Apprentice Glazier where over time you will become a core member of our Maroochydore Windows and Doors team.
This apprenticeship will see the ideal candidate gain the learning requirements relevant to obtain your trade certificate with guidance both from our experienced and skilled supervisors and via completion of TAFE components. Throughout the span of the apprenticeship, you will work in our windows and doors fabrication facility and on residential and commercial construction sites. You will gain exposure to:
* Glass Skills - handling and moving glass safely, and cutting glass by hand and using machines
* Residential Fabrications - fabricating and assembling large range of windows, doors and screens products, including cutting and processing aluminium for frames
* Residential Glazing - glazing, re-glazing, installing residential windows, doors, screens, showerscreens, mirrors, and glass splashbacks
* Commercial Glazing - installing commercial and structural glazing products and commercial structural re-glazing

* Current drivers’ license (own vehicle)
* Willing to travel to attend TAFE block training in Brisbane
