Ethos Urban is a multi-disciplinary business that brings together planning, urban design, property economics, social strategy, community engagement, and project management.We focus on bringing together the collective intelligence of our different people to help deliver better solutions to complex problems, and ultimately achieve better urban outcomes for our community.Our towns and cities are always changing and we know this creates choices that can make a difference to the quality of our urban living.For over 25 years our people have worked in partnership with the public and private sectors to provide them with the momentum to realise their ambitions for better places, communities, and cities.About the role In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering a diverse range of sponsorship, partnership, and client events across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane (with occasional travel involved).The Events & Partnerships Lead reports to the Head of Marketing and Communications and plays an important role in driving brand awareness, thought leadership of our people and projects, and business growth for Ethos Urban.Key responsibilities Strategic Event Management: Oversee and deliver Ethos Urban's annual corporate sponsorship and partnership events program.You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of these event types and, where applicable, ensuring each event aligns with contract requirements and maximises its impact on brand awareness and communication goals.Client-Centric Approach: Constantly evaluate how partnership and client events can generate valuable leads and enhance brand awareness.Track, report (debrief), and record event outcomes, including key learnings, insights, client attendance quality, and recommendations for continuous improvement.Leveraging Partnerships: Deepen your understanding of Ethos Urban's existing committee, membership, and partnership portfolio (PCA, PIA, UDIA, ULI, etc.).Content Creation and Digital Strategy: Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Specialist to develop, maximise, and create content opportunities from our events.Event Operations Expertise: Oversee all logistical aspects of special corporate events, including venue selection, catering arrangements, event branding, and attendee experience management.Financial Management: Co-create and manage event budgets in collaboration with the team.Teamwork and Collaboration: Be part of a small team, offering support to each other on the broader marketing and communications activities as needed.We are looking for an experienced Events and Partnership Coordinator who has: A minimum of 4+ years' event experience.Experience in professional services, property development, architectural sectors, or large corporate environments will be highly regarded.Demonstrated experience managing and delivering multiple and/or concurrent events from end-to-end including budget, stakeholder, and event supplier management with the ability to define and link activities, responsibilities, and deadlines.Excellent writing, oral, and interpersonal communication skills to assist with event content and influence stakeholders.Qualifications in public relations or similar will be highly regarded.Strong administrative background: Knowledge of CRM and event, marketing automation software will be highly advantageous.Experience with running virtual events, such as webinars, hybrid events, Linked In Live will be an advantage.An optimistic and calm under pressure approach - be able to maintain composure during event delivery.Creative thinker with a flair for event design and concepts.Why work with us?
