Job Description
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director, Governance and Strategy to lead the development and implementation of our enterprise governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the delivery of the enterprise governance framework, driving consistency and alignment with the Commission's strategic and operational priorities.
* Lead and manage the secretariat function and team for the enterprise governance forums, including designing and managing committee processes, coordinating and providing advice on papers and agendas, and managing committee communications.
* Develop an Enterprise Business Strategy for the Commission, focusing on continuous improvement and maturity.
* Facilitate annual planning and design of the Corporate Plan and Annual Report.
* Manage key strategic initiatives related to the Commission's strategic and operational priorities.
* Work closely with the ePMO to embed seamless integration of enterprise governance frameworks and processes into the Commission.
* Facilitate workshops and develop and deliver training as required.
* Manage complex stakeholder relations to achieve outcomes related to sensitive issues.
Requirements:
* A strong track record in delivery, project management, and leadership.
* Demonstrated capacity to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Qualifications and demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* A positive contemporary attitude to people with disability.
* Ability to undertake work that is very complex or sensitive and operate under broad direction.
* Strategic thinker with an eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills to provide advice and written guidance on complex issues.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including negotiation and influencing outcomes.
* Adherence to the APS Values and Code of Conduct, behaving ethically and professionally.
