Risk and Compliance Component:Proactively role model service delivery and expectations by understanding, embedding, and maintaining policies and procedure Promote a strong culture of risk and compliance awareness and management across the school and provide learning opportunities to support the capability of our staff to manage risks.Advise School Leadership of relevant changes to regulations, legislation, policies, and procedures.Deliver and advise staff, students, and the school community on policy updates and publish via appropriate channels.Facilitate the completion and report on risk and compliance tasks through the appropriate avenues.Facilitate/support the maintenance of organisational registers.Advise and facilitate the conduct of risk assessments by responsible staff members for school events. Facilities Component:Ensure all facilities adhere to safety standards.Conduct regular inspections and addressing hazards promptly.Implement, manage, facilitate and regularly review the school's annual Maintenance schedule, ensuring all facilities adhere to safety standards. The successful candidate will possess:A proven track record in managing risk and compliance, with a focus on sustainability and operational improvement.An ability to manage multiple tasks to achieve both project and operational outcomes.Strong knowledge of building, equipment and vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.IT skills in conjunction with knowledge of systems. Essential Skills and Experience:Demonstrated experience in facilities management, ideally within an educational or similar environment.Strong knowledge of building maintenance and safety regulations.Excellent organisational, time-management and leadership skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with various stakeholders.Proven ability to build and sustain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Strong work ethic.
