About Us : Marineland Croc Habitat was first established in 1954 as 'Marineland'.
In 1971 'Marineland Croc Park' was established when the Craig family brought their amazing collection of Crocodiles and Primitive Tribal Artfrom the Melanesian Region.
George Craig started out over 40 years ago working in Papua New Guinea, now his life's work is proudly on display alongside our beautiful Reef Aquariums and Marine Turtles, historical nautical relics and a collection of restored stationary engines.
About You : Be undertaking or completed a graduate degree in Marine Biology or similar qualification Or have relevant experience in the Marine Aquaria or Zoo industry Position Summary : In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Aquariums life support systems, coral propagation and Marine ornamental fish systems.
As part of the role you will be conducting test and reviewing current literature on best practice to ensure the systems are maintained.
In addition you will be working closely with the team guiding them on how to safely feed and exhibit the animals.
We are a small team so the roll does involve a willingness to assist in other departments.
