We're looking for someone like you to join us as a Disability Support Worker, providing care and support to individuals with disabilities!About the Role We have a casual opportunity to join our Emerald team as a Disability Support Worker, with the potential to transition into a part-time role.
The position mainly involves afternoon, evening, and sleepover shifts, either from 3 PM to 10 PM or 10 PM to 6 AM.
You'll be supporting a customer in medium-term accommodation with the goal of transitioning into a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home.
In this role, you'll assist individuals with various disabilities, help prioritise tasks, and foster a supportive environment that promotes independence and personal growth.

Other responsibilities may include: Providing assistance with daily living activities such as personal care.
Assisting with housekeeping duties, including cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Implement PBS plan to ensure customer needs are met.
Keep accurate records, including progress notes and incident reports.
